Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actress Savitri in her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s, as a young actor. Her return to film following her study of the field of fashion. Her first leading role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working in projects that weren't Malayalam in 2015. She also signed up to appear in numerous Tamil films at the same time. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. But, both films were not a success in cinemas. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 led her to opt out of films which she had already started making, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to make room for larger projects. The actress was in two films that came out in quick succession, with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note on Prabhu's Thodari. However, the film is delayed since 2015, with the possibility of release in September, 2020 with a brand new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was the lead actress alongside Vijay in Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on 17 January 2017.
